What started as a conversation about recognising the vital role of legal cashiers has evolved into a profession-wide movement, celebrating the people who quietly safeguard client money, uphold compliance, and keep law firms running day after day. This post looks back on the remarkable success of the very first National Legal Cashier Day and the momentum it has created for the future.

When we first suggested the idea of a National Legal Cashier Day, we hoped it might start a conversation.
What happened on 22 May 2026 was something altogether different.
Across the UK, legal cashiers, law accountants, law firms, suppliers, software providers, recruiters, professional bodies and regulators came together to celebrate a profession that rarely seeks the spotlight but plays a critical role in every compliant law firm.
The response was overwhelming.
